Some vehicles will have older (250k data) on pins F and G with the newer Type 2 connector. This adapter will connect the older data from pins F and G of the Type 2 connector to the CAN lines of the OBD2 connector. This will allow your existing systems to be used on the new vehicles. Check with your vehicle manufacturer to see if the 250k J1939 data is supplied on pins F and G.
